Ilana Garber serves as the Director of Global Rabbinic Development at the Rabbinical Assembly since July 2020, bringing extensive experience in Jewish education and community engagement. Prior to this role, Ilana held the position of Rabbinic Director of Lifelong Learning & Community Engagement and Rabbi at Beth El Temple from August 2005 to June 2020. Ilana's rabbinical journey began as a Student Rabbi at Congregation Sha'are Shalom from September 2004 to May 2005. Educational credentials include a Rabbinic Ordination and a Master's in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary, along with Bachelor's degrees in Religion from Barnard College and Talmud from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Ilana also participated in Nativ from 1995 to 1996.
