Gideon van Tonder

Gideon van Tonder is an experienced development and project manager with a strong background in property development and project management. Currently serving as Development Manager at Rabie Property Group (Pty) Ltd since April 2023, Gideon previously held the role of Senior Development Manager and Development Manager at Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities from November 2018 to December 2022. Prior experience includes several Development Manager positions at Realgrowth Development and Accura Development Management, overseeing notable residential projects in Centurion and Midrand. Additionally, Gideon worked as a Project Manager at Accura Development Management and Pulse Property Group (Pty) Ltd. Earlier career experience as a Quantity Surveyor at Billion Construction reinforces a solid foundation in construction and project management. Gideon holds a B.Sc QS Honors degree in Quantity Surveying and Project Management from the University of the Free State, earned between 2005 and 2008.
