Büşra Korkmaz

Büşra Korkmaz is an experienced professional with a robust background in IT risk management and assurance. Currently serving as a City Council Member for Gemeente Lelystad since April 2022, Büşra also holds the position of IT Risk Manager at Rabobank from October 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Associate in Risk Assurance at PwC Nederland, where involvement in various IT risk management projects enriched expertise in IT auditing for multinational clients. Büşra's earlier roles featured leadership as Team Lead of Store Operations at Albert Heijn and a graduate internship at PwC, focusing on privacy disclosures related to the General Data Protection Regulation. Büşra's educational qualifications encompass both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Management and Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, as well as pre-university education in Economics & Society.
