Rhys Heron serves as Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at RAC WA, overseeing both external and internal communications within the Social and Community Impact division since December 2017. Rhys's responsibilities include leading communications teams, developing strategic plans, managing media relations, and executing community advocacy campaigns. Prior to this role, Rhys excelled in various communication positions at the City of Kwinana, culminating in the role of Manager of Corporate Communications and a brief tenure as Acting Director of City Strategy. Rhys's career also includes experience in media relations at the City of Cockburn and project management for a road safety campaign. Rhys holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Public Relations from Curtin University and a Diploma in Public Relations from Central Institute of Technology.
