Daniel Tillett

Daniel Tillett is an experienced executive and entrepreneur with a strong background in biotechnology and software development. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Race Oncology since November 2023, Tillett has been the CEO and Founder of Nucleics since July 1999, where the company specializes in software for DNA sequencing. Their previous roles include Chief Scientific Officer and Executive Director at Race Oncology, Non Executive Director positions at SmartrMail and Simble Solutions Limited, and active angel investor at Sydney Angels, focusing on supporting Australian startups. Tillett also has academic experience as a Senior Lecturer at La Trobe University, and holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from UNSW.
