VJ Borgohain is an experienced technology leader currently serving as General Manager ‑ Technology at Melbourne Racing Club since May 2022. With a robust background in managing IT infrastructure and services, VJ previously held the position of IT Infrastructure, Security & Services Manager at Melbourne & Olympic Parks from October 2010 to May 2022, overseeing technology delivery for major events, including the Australian Open and numerous concerts. VJ's career also includes roles as Network Manager and Network Engineer, where significant technology refresh projects were undertaken, leading to advancements in voice, data, and digital media services. Notably, VJ led the CCTV monitoring and broadcast delivery for the 2015 Formula One Grand Prix and managed ICT requirements for Pacific Broadband Networks. VJ holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology (Network Systems) from Swinburne University of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
