Gozde Gozeten Turney has worked in a variety of legal roles since 2000. From 2000 to 2001, they trained as a Trainee Lawyer at Topaloglu Law Office & Ozersin Law Offices. Gozde was then admitted to the Turkish Bar as a Lawyer in 2001. In 2002, they worked as a Visiting Lawyer at Novell UK. From 2004 to 2009, they worked as a Lawyer at The International Law Partnership LLP, where they were promoted to Head of Turkish Law Department. In 2009, they joined Allen & Overy to train and qualify as an English Solicitor. Gozde was then admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales in 2011, and worked as a Trainee Solicitor at Barclays from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2022, they worked at FXCM as an Associate Counsel, Senior Associate Counsel, and Lead Counsel, Legal Europe. In 2022, they became a Co-founder and Chief Legal Officer of Rackle, a technology company that enables banks, e-money companies, and financial technology companies to provide banking services in Europe.

Gozde Gozeten Turney's education history includes a High School Diploma from TED Ankara College (1984-1995), a BA in Law from Ankara University (1995-2000), a Master of Laws (LLM) in EU Law from Stockholm University (2003-2004, with full scholarship), a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School (2005-2007, part-time), a Legal Practice Course from The College of Law (2008-2009, with Distinction), and a Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) with BPP (2012).
