Jessica McMillian

Jessica McMillian has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and defense. Jessica started their career in 2009 as an analyst in the United States Marine Corps and served in this role until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Network Warfare Operator in the same organization. Following that, they joined Clear Ridge Defense as a Senior Cyber Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Jessica then worked at IDS International as a TechOps Manager from 2019 to 2022. Currently, they are employed at Rackner as a DevOps Engineer, starting in September 2022.

Jessica McMillian earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science from Belmont University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2020, they enrolled at Western Governors University to pursue a degree in Cloud and System Administration, which is still ongoing as of 2021. Jessica has obtained several certifications, including Terraform Associate from HashiCorp, CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003) from HashiCorp, CompTIA PenTest+ ce Certification from CompTIA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification from CompTIA, CompTIA Network+ ce Certification from CompTIA, and CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA.
