Nareshkanna Samiappan

Nareshkanna Samiappan has over 15 years of experience in software quality assurance engineering. Nareshkanna began their career at GAARK micro device as a Software Engineer from June 2001 to October 2003. Nareshkanna then joined Global Information Technology as a DSP Software Engineer from August 2005 to May 2007, where they worked on JPEG image compression and H.263 video decoder projects. Following this, Nareshkanna worked at Texas Instruments Consulting through Wipro Technologies as a Senior Software QA Engineer from May 2007 to January 2009, where they validated the H264 encoder on various Texas Instrument platforms.

Nareshkanna then moved on to Cisco Systems Consulting through Wipro Technologies, where they held multiple roles as a Senior Software QA Engineer. From February 2009 to October 2011, Nareshkanna was involved in audio and video quality analysis for a product that provided interoperability between Cisco Telepresence Systems and third-party video conferencing devices. From October 2011 to March 2012, they worked on audio and video codec validation for Cisco's Telepresence meeting solution. From March 2012 to October 2012, they worked on testing Tandberg Content Server (TCS) video recording and streaming solution, and from October 2012 to March 2016, they worked on various products at Imagine Communications, including Static Ad Decision Server, Broadcast Network Processor, and Video Multiprocessing Gateway.

Most recently, Nareshkanna has been working at RackWare Inc. as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer since March 2016. In this role, they are responsible for assessing and improving the overall quality of RackWare Management Module (RMM). Their responsibilities include business use case requirement analysis, designing and developing software quality assurance test plans, and prioritizing test cases and estimating test case execution completion.

Nareshkanna Samiappan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras from 1997 to 2001. Nareshkanna then pursued a Master's degree in Power Electronics & Drives from BIT from 2003 to 2005.
