Martijn Gerritsen

Martijn Gerritsen is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Management Sciences, Radboud University Nijmegen, focusing on the energy transition in the Netherlands, particularly its regional organization and implications for participation. Prior to this role, Martijn served as a Project Employee at the Royal Dutch Geographical Society, and worked as an Actor and Facilitator at Live Your Story, promoting diversity and inclusion. Martijn also gained pedagogical experience through teaching internships at Trondheim International School, STEINERSKOLEN I TRONDHEIM, and Amsterdam International Community School. Additional roles included a General Employee at Stadsschouwburg Utrecht and internships at Waag and Pop-Up City focusing on social change and urban transformation. Martijn holds a Master's degree in Geography with a focus on Education and Communication from Utrecht University, a Research Master's in Urban Studies from the University of Amsterdam, and has completed study abroad programs at KTH Royal Institute of Technology and The University of Hong Kong.
