Elke Arts

Elke Arts is currently a surgical resident at Radboud University Medical Centre, specializing in trauma surgery with a focus on pelvic and paediatric fractures. Since 2017, Elke has also been a postdoctoral researcher at Radboud University Medical Centre Nijmegen. Previous roles include surgical residency at Ziekenhuis Gelderse Vallei and Rijnstate, and work as an arts-assistent in surgery at Radboudumc. Elke earned a PhD on cardiovascular risk management in rheumatoid arthritis patients from Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, initiated prior to attending medical school, and has a Master’s in Health Care from Maastricht University. Additional experience includes project management for a symposium on Diabesitas and serving as a student assistant in the emergency room.
