Marlies Cornelissen

Marlies Cornelissen has extensive experience in pediatric nephrology, working at Radboudumc since February 1997, where roles include Pediatric Nephrologist, Head of the Department of Pediatric Nephrology, and Director of the Section of Metabolic, Endocrine, and Nephrologic Diseases in Children. In addition, Marlies serves as a member of the Medical Ethics Review Board East-Netherlands and coordinates the training program for future Pediatric Nephrologists. Marlies also held the position of Principal Investigator for a phase 3 trial at Raptor Pharmaceutical concerning Cystinosis. Education includes an MD in Pediatrics from Radboudumc Nijmegen, a PhD on Vitamin K deficiency in infancy, and prior degrees in medicine and classical studies.
