Jaana Kovalainen

Jaana Kovalainen is an experienced leader in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as the Interim Director of the Fundraising & Partnership Department and the Director for Institutional Partnerships at Rädda Barnen - Save the Children Sweden since December 2011. With a proven track record in managing significant funding targets and building relationships with key partners such as Sida, EU, and World Bank, Jaana has also held various vital positions within Save the Children, including Acting Director of Award Management and Senior Partnership Manager for EU. Before joining Save the Children, Jaana worked with Forum Syd as Fund Manager and Country Manager in Colombia and held a Program Manager role at SweFOR. Jaana's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Human Rights for Children and several degrees in International Marketing, Human Rights, and Social Sciences.
