Joanna Byszewska-Zapletal

Joanna Byszewska-Zapletal has extensive experience in international relations and project management, currently serving as Partnership Manager at Rädda Barnen - Save the Children Sweden since May 2022. Previously, Joanna worked as Project Manager for the Middle East at Fundacja Polskie Centrum Pomocy Międzynarodowej (PCPM) from October 2019 to December 2022 and participated in limited election observation missions with the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in mid-2019. Joanna held the position of Vice Consul and Head of Visa and Passport Section at the Consulate General of Poland in New York from July 2013 to December 2017. Additional roles include Audit Assistant at Deloitte Poland and International Cooperation Coordinator at the General Directorate of the State Forests. Joanna's educational background encompasses a Master of Arts in International Relations - Diplomacy from Collegium Civitas, as well as degrees in Political Sciences and European Studies from Uniwersytet SWPS and Uczelnia Łazarskiego w Warszawie, respectively. Further education includes comprehensive e-learning courses in international human rights from the Global Campus of Human Rights.
