James Steph

James Steph has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James began their career at Vertex Communications as a Sr. R&D Engineer, where they maintained satellite tracking beacon receivers and developed new electronic hardware and firmware. James then joined Electronic Design Technology as a Sr. Engineer, contributing to the development of electronic products for the home automation market and participating in industry standardization efforts.

In 2002, Steph joined Stemco LP and held various roles. As a Sr. Product Engineer, they developed DSP-based semi-passive RFID reader hardware and software, earning two patents for their innovations. James later became an Engineering Manager, overseeing cross-functional teams in the development of electronic products for the heavy-duty trucking industry and implementing continuous improvement measures. Lastly, they served as a Product Manager, managing product margins, cost reductions, and pricing structures, while also collecting customer feedback for new product development.

In 2016, Steph started their own company, StephTech LLC, where they assumed the role of President. James'scompany specializes in developing embedded and firmware solutions utilizing sensors and RF communications for the agricultural marketplace. With over 20 years of experience in product development and management, StephTech offers robust solutions based on extensive customer feedback.

Additionally, in December 2016, Steph took on the role of Director of Sales and Marketing at Radeus Labs, Inc., although further details about this position are not provided.

James Steph attended Kilgore College from 1990 to 1992 where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering with a concentration in Electrical Engineering. During this time, they also studied Physics, Political Science, and Mathematics. Following their time at Kilgore College, James Steph transferred to LeTourneau University where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSE) degree from 1991 to 1994.
