Debra K. McMahon

Dr. Debra K. McMahon, of Charlottesville, is Principal and former CEO of Scitent, which helps organizations build their eLearning business. She previously served as operations manager for Cardio Concepts and as a medical editor and writer for Education and Training Systems International.

Dr. McMahon earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and her Ph.D. in Pathology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. McMahon was appointed in 2016 by Governor Terry McAuliffe and was reappointed in 2020 by Governor Ralph Northam.

Dr. McMahon’s second term ends June 30, 2024.
