Geoff Nichols is a Technical Support Physicist at Radformation since January 2024, with a robust background in medical physics accumulated over several years. Previously, Geoff served as a Medical Physicist at Swedish Medical Center from April 2017 to January 2024 and as a Clinical Instructor at UNC School of Medicine - Department of Radiation Oncology from July 2014 to April 2017. While at Hayworth Cancer Center, Geoff was one of two clinical medical physicists responsible for the oversight of an external beam program treating approximately 50 patients daily and an HDR program, utilizing advanced technologies. Geoff's educational achievements include a Master of Science in Medical Physics from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from UNC Greensboro. Additionally, experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and Los Alamos National Laboratory, and earlier work as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic in the Army National Guard.
