Salime Boucher has worked in the field of accelerator technologies since 1998. Salime began their career as a Research Assistant at UCLA, where they designed, assembled and tested RF photoinjector guns, RF measurement and feedback systems, magnetic beam optics, vacuum systems and electron beam and laser diagnostics. Salime also employed and developed beam dynamics simulation codes and designed components using 3D CAD modeling and Finite Element Analysis software. In 2002, they moved to SureBeam Corporation, where they operated, maintained and serviced several high average power accelerator systems for food irradiation and product sterilization. Salime programmed and debugged control software and hardware for the accelerators and material handling systems, and was responsible for the calibration/validation of accelerators and related beam measurement systems, and the design and implementation of quality assurance procedures. In 2004, they co-founded RadiaBeam Technologies, where they have served as Chief Executive Officer for more than a decade. During this time, they have led the company through consistent growth and profitability.
Salime Boucher attended the University of California, Riverside from 1996 to 1998, studying Physics. Salime then transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles, where they earned a B.S. in Physics in 2002. In 2003, they obtained a Forklift Driver certification from Mr. Forklift Driver Certifier.
