Ashley Faloon has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Ashley began their career as a Part-Time Experience Program (PEP) Student at Nortel Networks, where they performed network configuration and maintenance tasks. Ashley then worked as a Billing Clerk at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.

Ashley later joined Environment Canada as a Technical Support Officer, where they worked on various projects in the Special Projects and Coordination Division. Ashley then transitioned to Mount Allison University, where they served as an Undergraduate Researcher, Teaching Assistant, and Teaching Intern in the physics and astronomy departments.

After that, Ashley worked at McGill University as a Graduate Research Assistant, conducting astrophysics research and serving as a Teaching Assistant and Head Teaching Assistant for physics and astronomy courses. Ashley gained extensive experience in data analysis and reduction using various spectroscopic techniques.

Ashley then joined Nanometrics - Seismic Monitoring Solutions as a Software Developer, focusing on the processing and analysis of seismic data using digital signal processing techniques.

Ashley later worked at Leonardo Canada - Electronics as a Radar and EW Scientist, where they developed and tested physics-based radar and electronic warfare software. Ashley also served as a Project Manager and Software Team Lead, leading a team of software developers on a radar and electronic warfare modelling and simulation software suite.

Most recently, Ashley joined Westboro Photonics, where they held the roles of Research Scientist and Internal Auditor/Technical Manager. In these roles, they contributed to the development and calibration of photometric and colorimetric metrology equipment and played a key role in the company's successful accreditation pursuit. Ashley was responsible for implementing and managing the company's Quality Management System and also provided training on quality and technical processes and procedures.

Ashley's current role is as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Radiant Vision Systems.

Ashley Faloon pursued their education in physics, beginning with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics, with a minor in Mathematics, from Mount Allison University, which they completed between 2002 and 2006. Ashley then continued their studies at McGill University, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics from 2006 to 2008. Ashley further advanced their academic achievements by completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics at McGill University from 2008 to 2013. In 2012, they attended the McGill University - School of Continuing Studies for a brief period, although the information regarding the degree and field of study is unavailable. Additionally, Ashley gained a Certificate of Proficiency from the University of Otago in 2005. As for their certifications, they obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) qualification from the Scrum Alliance® in December 2018.
