Erin Brown has a diverse work experience in various roles. Erin worked as a Test Engineer at Radiant Vision Systems starting from 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Nanohmics from 2017 to 2021, where they worked as an Applied Physicist. Erin'sresponsibilities included characterizing semiconducting nanoparticle thin film responses, managing data processing software, and programming fluidic systems. Erin also gained experience in various instrument usage, such as Wirebonder, Scatterometer, Ellipsometer, and SEM. Erin also interned as a Materials Engineer at Nanohmics from 2017 to 2018. Before joining Nanohmics, Erin worked at Western Washington University from 2015 to 2017. Erin'sroles there included being an Academic Tutor, Research Assistant, Program Support Staff, and Note Taker. As an Academic Tutor, Erin helped students with physics and math, facilitated study groups, and collaborated with fellow tutors. During their time as a Research Assistant, they collaborated on interdisciplinary projects to develop and characterize organic photovoltaic devices. As Program Support Staff, they led cross-cultural physics sessions and mediated concerns between faculty and students. Finally, as a Note Taker, Erin recorded detailed notes for students with disabilities and revised them for clarity.
Erin Brown obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics and Mathematics from Western Washington University between 2013 and 2017. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2019, they attended the University of Oregon, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Applied Physics.
