Kasey French has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Beginning in 2016, Kasey served as a Division 1 student athlete for the University of Washington men's soccer team, balancing a demanding training schedule with completing a double STEM major. As a senior, Kasey led the team to its first PAC12 title in 6 years and a run to the elite 8 in the NCAA tournament. Kasey also worked as a Camp Coach, leading and training youth soccer players of various ages.
In 2019, Kasey interned with the hydraulics department at the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), assisting with data acquisition and analysis for culvert and stream restoration projects. This internship ended with a presentation to upper management on the state of hydraulic projects.
In 2020, Kasey co-founded ClimateHub, a digital platform connecting investors and startups in the climate space. Kasey led the development of the recommendation engine and assisted in designing and creating other services such as search, profile, and authentication. By June 2021, ClimateHub had approximately 100 investors and startups.
In the same year, Kasey joined Radiant Vision Systems as an Applications Engineer, utilizing their knowledge of software engineering. In 2021, Kasey was promoted to the role of Software Engineer at Radiant Vision Systems before transitioning to the role of Software Engineer II in 2023.
Throughout their work experience, Kasey has demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and a dedication to sustainable and impactful projects.
Kasey French pursued their education from 2015 to 2019 at the University of Washington. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.
