Senior Machine Vision Engineer at Radiant Vision Systems

Masahiko Yasui has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2022. Masahiko started their career as a professional cyclist, competing in various professional bicycle races worldwide for Shimano Racing Team in 2013. Masahiko then transitioned to the field of research and engineering, with roles at The University of Tokyo as a Master Thesis Student and later as a Doctoral Student. During these roles, they developed occlusion-robust dynamic illumination systems and low-latency interaction systems. Masahiko implemented various programs using languages such as C++ and Python. Masahiko also worked as an Engineer at Hitachi, where they developed an aggregation method for XAI results using background replacement data. Masahiko further utilized their engineering skills at KONICA MINOLTA, INC. as an Engineer. Currently, they are employed at Radiant Vision Systems as an Engineer.

Masahiko Yasui attended The University of Tokyo from 2009 to 2013 and received a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Masahiko then pursued further education at the same university from 2014 to 2016, earning a Master of Information Science and Technology degree. From 2017 to 2022, Masahiko Yasui completed their education at The University of Tokyo, obtaining a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology.
