Steven Castle, MBA, COA, RT(T), has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Steven is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at Radiation Business Solutions, a national provider of specialized services within oncology. In this role, Steven collaborates with a team of compassionate caregivers to deliver comprehensive cancer services to local communities.
Prior to their current position, Steven worked as an Executive Consultant at Bradley TF, Inc, where they provided subject matter expertise in global healthcare knowledge to third-party consulting agencies and direct contracted consulting for upstream/downstream marketing. Steven focused on developing financially viable concept-to-consumption (C2C) products and services that add value to the end-users.
Steven also holds various roles in the Association of Cancer Executives, where they are certified as an Oncology Administrator and a Fellow of Oncology since 2015.
Their work experience also includes being a US Navy Reserve Officer in the rank of LCDR. During their time in the US Navy, they were deployed to Europe and Africa commands where they coordinated with NATO and partner organizations to drive missions and strengthen relations. Steven also served as the Battle Watch Captain to the BALTOPS-20 military exercise.
Previously, Steven served as the COO of Southside Regional Medical Center at Community Health Systems, where they focused on delivering expert quality care to the tri-cities community of Virginia.
Steven has also held leadership positions at Varian Medical Systems, where they served as the Director of Operations, Software Business Unit, Director of Worldwide Marketing, Software Business Unit, and Manager of Strategic Partnerships. In these roles, Steven managed day-to-day operations, directed the development of marketing strategies, and turned eroding relationships into collaborating partnerships with large academic medical centers.
Steven's earlier work experience includes serving as the Administrative Director at HUMC-John Theurer Cancer Center and as a Hospital Administrator at HCA, where they oversaw oncology services and the design and construction of the Thomas Johns Cancer Hospital.
Prior to their administrative roles, Steven started their career as an Assistant Professor of Radiation Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth University and as the Managing Director of Enhanced Oncology Systems Inc, an oncology-specific firm focused on research and consulting services.

Steven Castle has a diverse educational background. Steven holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Hospital Administration from Regis University and a Graduate degree in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University. Steven also has a Graduate degree in Military Joint Operations Planning and Strategy from the U.S. Naval War College.
In addition, Steven has a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan University and a Certificate in Radiation Therapy from the University of Rochester. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Health Services Research at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Steven has also obtained additional certifications throughout their career. Steven received a certification in Global Health Diplomacy from Coursera in June 2017, and they are a Licensed Radiation Therapist, having obtained this certification from the ASRT Foundation in September 1990.
