Unity Engineer at Radical Forge

Adam Clarkson has several years of experience in the software engineering field. Adam is currently working at Radical Forge as a Unity Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Double Eleven Limited as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of major released titles such as Prison Architect and Rust Console Edition. At Double Eleven, they worked on elements of gameplay, UI, and audio for the Escape Mode DLC of Prison Architect.

Before joining Double Eleven, Adam was self-employed as a Unity 3D Developer, working on various Unity mobile projects, including 3D game apps and VR apps. Adam also worked on the GuardianVR app on Android and iOS, with responsibilities including UI design and implementation, backend work for data downloading, VR video playback, and game design and development.

Prior to their freelance work, Adam worked at Luna4 Enterprises as a Software Engineer, where they worked on an Android/iOS resource management game and 3D interactive desktop applications for Drilling Systems. For the mobile game, they focused on gameplay design, UI work, difficulty balancing, and back-end systems. For the simulator project, they ported an old C++ project to Unity3D in C#.

Adam's career in software engineering started at FOG Media, where they served as a Unity 3D Developer. Their responsibilities included developing games for various mobile platforms and web versions. Adam worked on porting and optimizing existing games, as well as creating new games from scratch. Their tasks also involved implementing mobile controls, GUI systems, analytics, and monetization methods.

Prior to their software engineering career, Adam worked at Grainger Games Ltd as a Gadget Specialist and at Durham County Council as a Library Assistant.

Adam Clarkson completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce from Bishop Auckland College, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. Adam further pursued their education at the University of Central Lancashire from 2007 to 2010, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Games Development.
