Brian Cunningham

Brian Cunningham has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of information security and technology. Brian currently serves as the Director of Information Security at Radio Free Asia since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Security Manager at the United States Department of Defense from August 2019 to November 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Information Security Specialist at ManTech from April 2018 to August 2019. Brian also had a role as a Network Engineer at CACI International Inc from September 2017 to April 2018. Brian has also worked at AT&T Global Business - Public Sector Solutions as a Network Technician, Mid. Site Lead, Network Technician, Site Lead, and Network Technician, Junior from December 2015 to September 2017. Additionally, they have experience as a Network Technician at Insight Global from March 2015 to May 2015. Moreover, Brian worked independently as an IT Consultant providing technology consulting, repair, and security assessments from August 2010 to March 2015. In the early stages of their career, they worked as a Residential Sales Consultant at ADT from December 2011 to April 2012, and as a Manager Trainee at Hertz Rent a Car from April 2010 to September 2011.

Brian Cunningham holds a Master's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Brian also has a Bachelor's Degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Virginia Tech, which they completed between 2003 and 2008.
