Karel Knop

Karel Knop started their career in 2007 as a Graphic Designer at Newsquest, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, they joined Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty as a Web Designer and later became the Lead Web Designer for the Responsive web project, overseeing 105 websites in 60 languages and 13 brands. The project received several awards and nominations, including 2nd place in the "News & Politics" category in 2017 at The Lovie Awards.

Karel Knop earned a Bachelor's degree in Metal engraving from Střední uměleckoprůmyslová škola Turnov in the years 1994 to 1998. Karel later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Photography from FUD, University of J.E. Purkyně, Ústí n. L., Czech Republic, from 2001 to 2009.
