Reid Standish

Reid Standish is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in international reporting, particularly focused on global affairs pertaining to China, the Nordic and Baltic regions, and Central Asia. Currently serving as the China Global Affairs Correspondent at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty since February 2021, Reid previously held roles as a freelance correspondent, special correspondent for Foreign Policy, and worked with various publications covering diverse topics from politics to culture. With a robust educational background that includes an International Master's degree from the University of Glasgow and a Master's in International Relations from KIMEP University, Reid has also contributed to and led editorial projects, including serving as Editor-in-Chief of The Hidden Transcript Magazine.
