Radio Wine, formerly known as Radio Roghan-e- Habbe-ye- Angoor, is one of the oldest and most popular podcasts in Iran. Founded in 2011, when the concept of podcasting was still in its infancy, Radio Wine quickly gained a reputation for producing engaging and insightful content that resonated with its listeners.

Initially starting out with a small audience, Radio Wine's popularity grew rapidly, with its listenership reaching over 500,000 people in Iran and other countries within just two years of its launch. The podcast covered a diverse range of topics, including culture, art, literature, and music with a variety of prominent figures in these fields.

Despite its success, Radio Wine was temporarily shut down in 2016. However, its dedicated listenership remained loyal, eagerly anticipating its return. After a hiatus of several years, Radio Wine is now set to make a comeback, with a new name and refreshed content.

Today, Radio Wine has become a household name among podcast listeners in Iran, with a weekly audience of around 5,000 people. Its unique blend of informative and entertaining content has made it a favorite among listeners of all ages and backgrounds.

As a trailblazer in the world of Iranian podcasting, Radio Wine has paved the way for many other innovative and creative podcasters to emerge. Its enduring popularity is a testament to its lasting impact on the Iranian media landscape, and its future promises to be as bright as its past achievements.
