Jim Howard

Jim Howard has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Jim currently works as a Cloud Architect at Radiology Partners since June 2021. Prior to this, Jim owned their own consulting company called Tough Going Consultants from November 2017 to April 2020, where they provided enterprise network management, design, and security consulting services to small and midsize businesses. Jim also managed webmaster and SEO/social media management for political and real estate campaigns. Before starting their own company, Jim served as the Global Telecom Manager at W. R. Grace & Co from April 2016 to November 2017, where they were responsible for LAN, WAN, and PBX voice and video for the company's global network. Jim managed a team of seven people and a budget of $2M. Prior to that, Jim worked at Eastman Chemical Company as an Enterprise Architect and Global Technical Architect from July 2014 to April 2016. In this role, they designed and operated the WAN, Firewalls, and VPNs for the company's division, Solutia. Jim also managed vendor relationships and provided troubleshooting support for remote sites. Jim's earlier experience includes working as an SAP Architect at SOLUTIA INC, where they designed and implemented the SAP R/3 instance for the company. Jim managed the data center, server architecture, and outsourced the operation to EDS.

Jim Howard attended the University of West Florida from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance, with a focus on General Studies.
