Caroline Thornton, MEd, CPMSM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Caroline currently works at Radiology Partners as the Manager of New Sites Credentialing and IMD Growth. Prior to this role, they held the position of Manager of Medical Staff Services at Regional Medical Center from June 2015 to September 2022. Caroline also served as the Audit Coordinator of Revenue Integrity at the same company from July 2009 to June 2015. Before joining Regional Medical Center, Caroline worked at Orangeburg Calhoun Technical College as the Director of Financial Aid from 2004 to 2009.

Caroline Thornton, MEd, CPMSM has a strong educational background in higher education administration and leadership. Caroline obtained their Master's Degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina in the years 2003-2006. During this time, they also completed a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Leadership from the same institution. Prior to their Master's Degree, Caroline earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, completing their studies from 1999-2002.

In addition to their academic achievements, Caroline has obtained several certifications related to medical services management. Caroline holds a Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification from the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), which they obtained in October 2022. Caroline also holds a NAMSS Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certification from the same institution, obtained in October 2022 as well.
