Rory Giles is an experienced R&D Specialist in System Engineering at Radiometer since November 2016, focusing on medical device development in compliance with FDA QSR, EU MDR & IVDR, and relevant ISO standards. Rory's expertise includes test case design, system architecture development, change management, and complex problem solving, alongside statistical data analysis. Prior to this role, Rory completed a PhD at ESPCI Paris - PSL with a thesis on novel magnetic particles for bioassays and served as a Research Trainee at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre, conducting research on consumer health-related technologies. Rory also worked as a Gateway Assessor at Citizens Advice, handling client interactions and case management.
