Shashank Vasudevan is a Senior R&D Specialist at Radiometer since September 2020, serving as the Product System Owner for a family of Blood Gas systems, and has a background in systems engineering, including roles as an R&D Specialist and Engineer focused on the development of immunoassay analyzers. Prior experience includes a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where Shashank worked on neural implants for Parkinson's disease therapy, and a Master Thesis at Fraunhofer ISE involving the development of simulation models for organic solar cells. Shashank also has experience as a Design Engineer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India, where contributions included 3D CAD modeling and patent filings related to automotive safety. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from DTU, a Master's in Microsystems and MEMS from The University of Freiburg, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
