Wim Vos

CEO at Radiomics

Wim Vos has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Wim is currently the CEO of Radiomics since May 2019. In addition, they serve as a Board Member for Nomics since December 2020.

In terms of research, Wim worked as a Postdoc Fellow at Maastricht University starting in April 2020, focusing on the use of radiomics in the respiratory system as part of the Precision Medicine unit. Wim also provided coaching and guidance to PhD and MSc students during their projects.

Before that, Wim owned their own company called Kettu from January 2019. Prior to that, they worked at FLUIDDA for a significant period, serving as CCO from January 2018 to January 2019, COO from September 2016 to January 2018, CTO from September 2010 to September 2016, and as an Aerodynamic Engineer from October 2009 to September 2010.

Wim also contributed to the Vlaamse handbalvereniging vzw as President from April 2015 to March 2018 and as a Member of the Board of Directors from March 2014 to March 2018.

Earlier in their career, Wim worked as a Scientific Adviser at University Hospital Antwerp from October 2009 to March 2011. Wim also conducted research as a PhD researcher at the University of Antwerp from April 2006 to October 2009, focusing on functional respiratory imaging in the pulmonary drug/device development cycle and clinical practice. Wim's work closely involved collaboration with University Hospital Antwerp and FLUIDDA nv.

Finally, Wim had an internship at Queen's University Belfast from January 2003 to June 2003.

Wim Vos completed their secondary education at Onze Lieve Vrouwe College Tongeren from 1992 to 1999, focusing on Mathematics-Sciences. Wim then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, specifically in Aerodynamics, at Delft University of Technology, which they completed from 1999 to 2006. In 2003, they temporarily studied at Queen's University Belfast, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period. Following this, they moved on to the University of Antwerp, where they obtained their PhD in Biomedical flow simulations between 2006 and 2012.
