Thomas E. Szczurek

Thomas E. Szczurek is a senior executive with 30 years of C-level consumer and commercial products as well as private equity industry experience. He most recently was the President of Stage Capital, LLC, a Columbus, Ohio private equity firm with diversified North American holdings in retail, manufacturing, transportation and data center segments. He also served as the CEO for Solstice Sleep Products, one of Stage Capital’s companies. In a prior role as President at Cosco Home & Office Products, he drove a large-scale growth initiative, reversed declining sales and market share, boosting EBITDA 230%. Other notable roles include Principal, Operations Group for American Capital, VP Sales & Marketing for Newell Rubbermaid and VP Marketing for Evenflo.

He is skilled in strategy development, business restructuring, operational turnarounds, management development, process reengineering, brand building, market expansion, new product development, acquisitions and integrations. He has served as Chairman and Board member on several company Boards of Directors. He has a BA in Marketing from Western Illinois University and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
