Beate Lanske

Vice President, Discovery/r&d at Radius Health

Beate Lanske has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Discovery and R&D at Radius Health, Inc., where they lead a research team and oversees laboratory operations. Beate is responsible for developing a Strategic Research Plan and is the main point of contact for external scientific communities. In addition, they support the clinical development team in the nonclinical field.

Furthermore, Beate has actively contributed to the field of bone and mineral research as a Council Member of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research. Beate also played a key role as the Co-Director of the HSDM/Forsyth Institute "The Academy" program.

Beate Lanske completed their Pre-Veterinary Studies at the University of Vienna in 1983. Beate then pursued a Master of Science degree at the University of Salzburg, graduating in 1988. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Salzburg in 1991. Finally, in 2014, they were awarded an Honorary Master's degree from Harvard Medical School.
