Marcelo Furtado

Marcelo Furtado, PMP, serves as the IT and Cybersecurity Manager at Radix Engenharia e Software since July 2022, focusing on optimizing IT processes and infrastructure alongside cybersecurity operations. Concurrently, Marcelo holds the role of CISO at PMI Rio de Janeiro Chapter, overseeing the information security management program, and also volunteers as VP of events for the chapter. Prior to these positions, Marcelo accumulated extensive experience at TechnipFMC and FMC Technologies, leading IT network projects and operations while adhering to best practices such as PMI, ITIL, Cobit, and Scrum. Marcelo holds advanced degrees in Cybersecurity and MBA in Information Technology Management from respected institutions, alongside a bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis.
