Rafael Levy

Rafael Levy has a diverse work experience in the field of data and AI. Rafael currently holds the position of Head of Data & AI at Radix Engenharia e Software, where they are responsible for business data strategy planning, team structuring, workflow design for data science teams, and machine learning systems design. Rafael also supports commercial proposals related to data and AI and frequently presents to different audiences. Prior to this role, they served as a Tech Lead at the same company, where they led AI projects, managed projects and people, translated business problems into data and ML problems, and deployed models in production environments.

Before joining Radix, Rafael worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Neobpo and as a Data Scientist as an autonomous professional. In these roles, they conducted data analysis and visualization, developed statistical models, and worked on various AI projects including object detection and recognition, OCR, time series modeling, and NLP.

Earlier in their career, Rafael served as the Coordinator of the Public Policy Management School (EGPP) at Fundação CEPERJ, where they managed costs and risks, conducted data analysis for decision-making, and collaborated with the planning and implementation of public policies. Rafael also worked as a Data Consultant at Rio Urbe - Empresa Municipal de Urbanização, where they provided data insights and analysis.

Furthermore, Rafael worked as an Engineer at Concremat Engenharia e Tecnologia, where they were responsible for data analysis and monitoring of metrics and performance indicators in various projects. Additionally, they served as a Researcher at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.

Rafael Levy earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Later, they pursued an MBA in Project Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, completing it from 2016 to 2017.
