Emil Bols

Solutions Architect at Radix

Emil Bols is a Solutions Architect and Machine Learning Engineer at Superlinear since January 2023. Prior to this, Emil served as a PhD Researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from September 2017 to August 2022, where the focus was on developing and applying machine learning methods in elementary particle physics, culminating in a thesis titled "Machine Learning for Top Quark Physics." Additionally, Emil was the Coordinator (L3 convener) of the Software and Algorithms subgroup of the b-tagging and vertexing physics object group at CMS while working at CERN from July 2019 to July 2021, overseeing collaborations among various teams. Emil holds a Master of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen.
