Helena Derwae is a Machine Learning Engineer at Superlinear since May 2023, following a tenure as a PhD Researcher at KU Leuven from September 2022 to April 2023. Helena gained experience as a Research Engineer Intern at icometrix for a brief period in July 2021 and was involved with the VTK sandwich bar from August 2018 to August 2020, coordinating a team of volunteers. Prior to that, Helena worked as a waitress and bartender at Ter Dolen Brewery from March 2014 to March 2018, where responsibilities included serving guests and training new staff. Helena holds a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Engineering from KU Leuven, completed in June 2022.
