Laurent Sorber has a wealth of experience in various roles, with their most recent position as Co-founder and CTO at InvestSuite since 2018. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as CTO at Radix, a Belgium-based Machine Learning company. Laurent also worked as a Managing Partner at Forespell from 2016 to 2017. Laurent started their career as a Data Scientist at KBC Bank & Verzekering in 2014, where they played a crucial role in establishing and expanding the data science lab. Additionally, Laurent worked as a Free Research Associate at KU Leuven from 2014 to 2015 and as a Software Engineer at Flemish League of Company Sports from 2005 to 2008.
Laurent Sorber earned a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from KU Leuven from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematical Engineering from the same university from 2008 to 2010. Laurent also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from KU Leuven, which they completed from 2005 to 2008. Laurent completed their high school education in Science & Mathematics (8h) at Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-van-Lourdescollege, Edegem-Mortsel, from 1999 to 2005.
