Piers Ridyard

Piers Ridyard is an experienced entrepreneur and CEO, currently leading RDX Works Ltd, the core developer of the Decentralised Finance protocol Radix, since September 2017. Ridyard is also a member of Founders Pledge, advocating for philanthropy among founders and investors. Previously, Ridyard served as CEO of several companies, including Surematics and Demnity, and led Nifty, known for the successful Nifty MiniDrive. Early career experiences include roles at J.P. Morgan in FIG Debt Capital Markets and Asian Foreign Exchange Operations, as well as a position at Linklaters in Private Equity M&A. Ridyard holds a BA in Chinese, Business and Management from The University of Manchester, an LLB in Commercial & Criminal Law from The University of Law, and studied Mandarin Chinese at Fudan University.
