Dee Near

Dee Near has extensive experience in the library field, currently serving as a Reference Librarian at Merced College since July 1994, where responsibilities include teaching library sessions across various disciplines to support community college students in research. Previously, from January 1978 to December 1993, Dee held the position of Technical Services Librarian at Merced County Library. Dee Near obtained a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1976 and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of California, Riverside in 1975.
