Annette Fargo has extensive experience in marketing, public relations, and event planning, currently serving as the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary since January 1996. In addition to this role, Annette holds positions on the Board of Directors for PR & Marketing and as an EVP Board Member for Ways & Means Events. Since November 1993, Annette has also been a partner at 4 x 4 Construction, a general contracting firm in La Jolla, California. Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary
Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary works in partnership with Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego to support its mission by advocating for the health and well-being of children, increasing community awareness of Rady Children’s, and fundraising. Today there are more than 1,200 volunteer members spread across 21 different units. Together they collaborate to ensure that patients and their families experience the highest level of care in a healing environment. In addition to supporting Rady Children’s programs and services, Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary has pledged to raise an additional $2,500,000 to establish the Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary Endowment for Neuroscience at the Rady Children’s Institute for Genomic Medicine. As the Endowed Chair, Dr. Joseph Gleeson and his team of researchers and clinicians will improve patient care by providing clinical genetics, DNA sequencing, bioinformatics, clinical trials, and cutting-edge research for children with neurological diseases and disorders.
