Edwin F. Juárez

Edwin F. Juárez, PhD, currently serves as the Technical Lead Data Scientist at Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine, where responsibilities include mentoring junior team members and developing clinical decision support tools utilizing clinical Natural Language Processing and machine learning. In addition, Edwin acts as a Neuro-Oncology Molecular Tumor Board Advisor at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, overseeing RNA-Seq data analyses and improving analysis pipelines. Previous roles include Visiting Scientist at the Broad Institute and Bioinformatics Scientist at the University of California San Diego, where notable achievements include receiving the UCSD Exemplary Staff of the Year award in 2020.
