Elise Brown

Elise Brown possesses a diverse background in both academic and clinical environments, currently serving as a SPT at California State University, Northridge since August 2022 and as a Physical Therapy Aide at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego since June 2021. Previous experience includes work as a Molecular Biology Research Associate II at Rynetech Bio, focusing on genetic engineering for sustainable chemical production, and as a Biochemistry Research Associate at Ontera, where Elise developed biochemical assays for agricultural diagnostics. Earlier roles include research at the Seth Rubin Lab, investigating regulatory proteins related to cancer, and serving as a co-leader and peer mentor in the Academic Excellence Program to promote diversity in STEM fields. Elise began professional development as a Pathmaker Intern at Palomar Health and holds a degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, earned between 2013 and 2017.
