Director, Mental, Behavioral And Developmental Services Institute at Rady Children's Hospital

Hyon-Chin (HC) Lee currently serves as the Director of the Mental, Behavioral and Developmental Services Institute at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego since September 2022, overseeing various grant-funded early childhood mental health and behavioral health programs. In addition to this role, Hyon-Chin is the President of the AANHPI Team Resource Group, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and has been recognized as one of the San Diego Business Journal's Asian Pacific Islander Leaders of Influence for 2024. Previous experience includes roles as Manager of Maternal and Child Health, Executive Director at The Link to Children, and Lecturer at Montclair State University and Cosumnes River College. Hyon-Chin has a strong background in community health programs, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing educational opportunities for medical residents. Hyon-Chin holds a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
