James Nelson-Lucas

James Nelson-Lucas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public relations, arts in healing, and storytelling. Since July 2016, James has served as the Director of Public Relations for the Vista Viking Festival, managing print and media advertising, coordinating events, and engaging in sponsor and customer relations while supporting the National MS Society. Additionally, since February 2006, James has worked at Rady Children's Hospital as an Arts in Healing Associate, promoting a nurturing environment for patients and their families through storytelling and illusions. James is also a dedicated storyteller and performer with The Patchwork Players Story Theatre and operates a personal venture, James Story Magic, focused on storytelling education since 1998. Academic credentials include studies at the University of California San Marcos, Palomar College, Mira Costa College, Vista High School, and Custom Learning Systems College, where James earned a degree in Service Excellence Ambassador.
