Karen Phung

Karen Phung is a dedicated pharmacy professional currently serving as a Pharmacy Intern at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego since May 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy from November 2020 to June 2022, where responsibilities involved assisting the pharmacist, managing prescriptions, and ensuring accurate inventory. Karen has also demonstrated strong leadership and organizational skills as a Senior Orientation Leader at UC San Diego, planning training and orientations for over 1,500 new students. Karen's education includes a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree expected in June 2026 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology completed in June 2022, both from UC San Diego.
