Marjan Rashedi

Marjan Rashedi serves as the Section Chief for Dental and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego since January 2013 and holds dual roles as CEO, Owner, and Pediatric Dentist at both North County Dental Surgery Center and SmileBuilders Children's Dentistry. Prior experience includes directing a private practice from August 2010 to March 2014, serving as an on-call pediatric dentist at La Clinica de La Raza - Children's Hospital of Oakland from July 2010 to April 2013, and completing a pediatric dental residency at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh from July 2008 to June 2010. Marjan Rashedi's educational background includes a DMD from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and post-doctorate degrees in Pediatric Dentistry and General Practice Residency from Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, respectively. An undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology was obtained from UCLA.
