Mary Beth Moran

Mary Beth Moran is an experienced professional in healthcare and education, currently serving as a Rehabilitation Steering Committee Member at Health Volunteers Overseas since July 2022. As the Director of the Center for Healthier Communities at Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego, a role held since November 2007, Mary Beth manages various community programs and population health initiatives aimed at improving public health for families in San Diego County. Previously, Mary Beth held positions such as Manager of Injury Prevention, overseeing multiple safety task forces, and Supervisor at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, where management of two physical therapy clinics occurred. Mary Beth's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Evaluative Clinical Sciences from Dartmouth College and another Master’s Degree in Education from The George Washington University, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Regis University.
